Easter is Hope.
We were created from God’s imagination and mind—designed to be like Him.
Due to sin, we often lose sight of what this truly means.
Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead to awaken and enliven us with the possibilities of becoming the beautiful and extraordinary expressions He intended us to be.
In the words of author Eugene Peterson,
“This kind of hope is not dreaming. It is not spinning an illusion or fantasy to protect us from our boredom and our pain. It means a confident, alert expectation that God will do what he said he will do. Hope is imagination put in the harness of faith.”
He is risen.
He is risen, indeed.
Hope is Easter.
