TRANSITIONS
As our Leadership Coach for the past several years, SCOTT SIMMS could not have done a better job encouraging, nurturing and directing our souls. He has walked alongside many of you in deep ways. I am thankful for Scott as both a friend and ministry partner, and looking forward to how God leads him in his passion for spiritual formation ministry to men. I hope you stay in touch with him and continue to pray for him.
LEADING A GROUP THIS FALL
Groups will begin soon at Vintage Faith, Flood, Pacific Grove, San Jose and other. Please pray about and consider leading a group this year. Several people have contacted us looking for a group to join. Need assistance? Please contact David for creative ideas, brainstorming, developing a group, building a calendar, planning sessions or whatever questions you may have.
CERTIFICATE TRACK
We have Certificate tracks beginning this fall in Santa Cruz (led by Polly Matsuoka and David Smith) and Discovery Bay (led by Josh and Lindsay Storrer). Please keep these leaders in your prayers.
CURRICULUM UPDATE
This is the last year for binders! Next summer we will print an official second edition which is significantly streamlined, updated, and enhanced with new learning outcomes and content.
Robin and I regularly remind each other to “live now,” i.e., to live life wholly before God and fully for the sake of others while we have the opportunity. That’s my invitation to you this year. Invest in eternity today on behalf of others.
